Formation of Biochar Nanocomposite Materials Based on CoFe2O4 for Purification of Aqueous Solutions from Chromium Compounds (VI)

چکیده

The paper proposes a simple one-stage synthesis of organic-inorganic composite materials based on oxide compounds iron (III) and cobalt (II) with developed surface. process cobalt(II) ferrite (CoFe2O4) structure formation the biochar surface was studied. As an organic component, obtained from agricultural waste, including sunflower husks, rice pea kernels. Composite ferrite/biochar were for first time using these wastes. characterized X-ray phase analysis, fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), transmission electron microscopy, N2 adsorption-desorption. A mechanism forming is proposed, stage chelate complexes transition element cations citric acid their subsequent thermal decomposition. High adsorption activity synthesized in removing chromium (VI) ions aqueous solutions established. husk material CoFe2O4 has highest capacity 6.98 mg/g. results suggest that composites have great potential practical industrial wastewater treatment.
